V naší generaci je mnoho dětí, které mají rozvedené rodiče. Ve třídě máme taky několik takových spolužáků. Mnoho lidí nemá odvahu o tom mluvit. My chceme tyto pocity vyslovit. Ačkoliv u nás to nebylo tak, jak zpívám. Naši rodiče na nás brali ohled a byli jsme docela rádi, že se rozvedli. Nejlepší by bylo si z toho nic nedělat. V žádném případě nechci, aby spolu všichni rodiče zůstali jen kvůli dětem. Ale měli by si svých dětí všímat. Máma a táta se musí starat o děti. Tom a já dnes nějak netrpíme rozvodem našich rodičů. Máme kontakt s oběma stranama a to je v pořádku. Jsme rodina, i když naši rodiče nejsou spolu.

Schrei vypravuje o tom, že se prostě nechceme přizpůsobit, ale říkat nahlas svoje názory. Vypráví o frustraci, že se musíme ve všedních dnech přizpůsobit. To není to, co chceme. Byl jsem z toho totálně hotovej, protože jsem nevěděl, kdy tu dívku zase uvidím. Když jsme se bavil s přáteli, tak jsem nechápal o čem se baví, protože jsem v myšlenkách byl s tou dívkou. Ostatní ze skupiny si tenhle můj stav dobře pamatují. Jsem jediný, kdo byl opravdu zamilovaný. Dopis na rozloučenou jsem od ní nedostal stejně jako v písničce. Teď se píšou jenom SMS-ky.
